The Freemasons of William H. Upton Naval & Military Lodge are members of a Fraternal Organization dedicated to making good men better and thereby making the community better. We are located in Bremerton, Washington.
Our Lodge is named after Judge Wm. H. Upton. Known as a Masonic scholar, he became Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Washington in 1898. Judge Upton made many significant contributions to Masonry; including his committee report of 1897 on Black Masonry and his efforts as Grand Master to proclaim that Masons of all colors stand as brothers: passing a resolution recognizing Prince Hall Masons in the State of Washington.
Founded by Colonel Joseph H. Pendleton, our Lodge was the two hundred-sixth Lodge chartered in 1915 by the Grand Lodge of Free & Accepted Masons of Washington, dedicated to Faith, Hope, and Charity.
There are four Masonic Lodges in downtown Bremerton and 12 Masonic Lodges in the Kitsap - Mason County area. See Dist 12 Site: Click Here
